Easy, close-fitting, unisex hat worked in k2, p2 rib with matching long scarf. Choose worsted, bulky or super bulky weight yarn.
Sizes: Hat will fit sizes 21"-24"; scarf is about 8"x84".

Super-bulky yarn: 60 yards for hat, 200 yards for scarf;
#13US/9mm 16" circulars and double pointed needles for hat and #17US/12mm straight needles for scarf.

Bulky yarn: 90 yards for hat, 300 yards for scarf;
#11US/8mm 16" circulars and double pointed needles for hat and #13US/9mm straight needles for scarf.
Suggested yarn: Cascade 109 tweed - 4 skeins.

Worsted yarn: 125 yards for hat, 420 yards for scarf;
#7US/4.5mm 16" circulars and double pointed needles for hat and #10US/6mm straight needles for scarf.
Suggested yarn: Garnstudio Angora Tweed - 4 balls, Araucania Magallanes - 3 skeins, Karabella Soft Tweed - 5 balls.
