Fixation Socks in Parfait by Terry Brejla

"I've finished another pair of socks from Fixation in parfait. This time, I adapted the Milanese lace from B. Walker's 2nd Treasury. I used size 3 US needles and cast on 48 stitches, ribbed (1/1) for 2 inches, then the lace (it's a multiple of 6, so works fine with no fudging) for 5 1/2 inches (that's the length that works best for me). The heel is an ordinary sl 1, k1 across, then sl 1, purl back. The Milanese lace pattern is 10 rows, but easy to memorize because it's progressive. Cool, huh?" - Terry.
