Pick Up Stitches

Instead of casting on stitches to create a sleeve, you can create the starting row by picking up the stitches in the "ladders" between the first and second stitch on the rows - the rate is normally 3 to 4, the BLUE dot notes the "ladders" to start next sequence of 3 stitchs.
